Belmont Shot Blasting provides sand blasting and shot blasting across Derbyshire from our yard at Needwood, about five miles from Hilton and twelve from Derby. We clean Derbyshire stone and brick, beams and fireplaces, sand blast gates and garden furniture, and shot blast farm, quarry and industrial steel, at our yard or on site.

South Derbyshire is red brick: farmhouses, terraces and barns around Repton, Etwall, Hilton and Melbourne. Further north, the Peak District and Derwent Valley are gritstone and limestone, with mill buildings, cottages and field barns. We set the media and pressure for each. Soft brick and old sandstone need a gentle touch, and hard gritstone and painted render take more.

Are you a Derbyshire company?
Our yard is just over the border in East Staffordshire, at Needwood near Burton upon Trent, about five miles from Hilton and Etwall. In practice we're as local to South Derbyshire as most Derbyshire-based blasters.
Can you sand blast Derbyshire stone?
Yes. We clean sandstone, gritstone and limestone, setting the media and pressure for the stone so the face is cleaned rather than eroded. We'll test an area first.
Do you cover the Peak District?
Yes, for homes, farms and quarries. Buxton, Bakewell and Matlock are about 22 to 30 miles from our yard as the crow flies.
Do you blast in Derby city?
Yes. Derby is about 12 miles from the yard. Drop items off, or we'll come to you for beams, brickwork and site work.
