Belmont shot blasts and repaints farm machinery at our yard at Needwood, in farming country between Burton upon Trent and Uttoxeter, and on farms across Staffordshire and Derbyshire. Typical jobs are tractor wheels, grain and corn trailers, implements and livestock equipment.
What farmers bring us
- Tractor wheels and rims
- Grain, corn and silage trailers
- Bale and flatbed trailers
- Ploughs, cultivators and drills
- Toppers, flails and mowers
- Loader buckets and attachments
- Gates, hurdles and cattle handling
- Feeders, troughs and steel structures
Why blast farm kit?
Muck, fertiliser and weather are hard on steel. Once rust gets under the paint, a trailer floor or wheel rim goes quickly. Blasting removes the rust completely, and a proper primer and topcoat stops it coming back, so kit lasts longer and is worth more when you sell it.
Winter is the ideal time. Book trailers and implements in after harvest and they'll be back, refinished, before they're needed again.
On the farm
For steel-framed buildings, silos, grain bins and anything that can't be moved, our mobile team comes to you with its own compressors.

Frequently asked questions
Can you blast tractor wheels with the tyres on?
Usually the tyre needs to come off for a full refurbishment, so the whole rim is blasted and coated. Tell us what you've got and we'll advise. Sometimes masking is possible for a tidy-up.
Can you refurbish a grain trailer?
Yes. We blast grain, corn, silage and bale trailers, including floors and sides, then prime and topcoat. Our 23-metre unit takes full-size trailers.
What colour can you paint farm machinery?
Any colour. Give us the manufacturer's colour, a sample, or the colour you want.
When is the best time to book?
After harvest and over winter, so kit is back before it's needed. Contact us early for the busy months.
