Belmont blasts and repaints quarry and aggregate plant, either on site or at our 23-metre blast unit near Burton upon Trent. We work on crushers, screens, silos, hoppers, chutes, conveyors and welfare units for quarry, aggregate and cement operators across the UK.
What we do for quarry sites
- Full crusher and screen refurbishment: blast, prime and topcoat
- Internal and external silo and storage tank blasting
- Hoppers, chutes, conveyors and structural steelwork
- Surface preparation before lining, repair or repainting
- Water tanks and welfare containers
- Work at height and in confined spaces, under strict safety procedures
We also refinish diggers, buckets and plant that work on quarry sites. We've blasted water tanks on site for Aggregate Industries, refurbished tracked crushers where they stood, and brought crusher parts back to the yard for blasting and priming.
Already have a blast booth?
Plenty of sites now blast small parts in house. We're the call for what doesn't fit: whole crushers and screens, silos and tanks that can't move, work at height, shutdown deadlines, and jobs that need blasting and a full paint system under one set of RAMS.

Can you refurbish a crusher without taking it off site?
Yes. We regularly blast and repaint tracked crushers and screens on site, bringing compressors, blast equipment and access with us. Smaller parts can come back to our yard if that's quicker.
Do you blast inside silos?
Yes. We carry out internal and external silo and tank blasting, with confined-space and working-at-height procedures, ready for lining, repair or repainting.
Are you approved to work on our site?
Our operatives hold SPA passports and IPAF cards, Belmont is an Avetta member, and we provide RAMS for every job. Send us your contractor requirements and we'll supply what you need.
How far will you travel?
Anywhere in the UK and the Channel Islands. Most quarry work is in Staffordshire, Derbyshire and the Peak District, close to our yard near Burton upon Trent.
